Jenn has worked in the real estate appraisal business since 1996.  She enjoys the challenge of determining the estimated value of properties using the most current appraisal methods and technology.  After graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in 2000 from SUNY Oswego, she became licensed in New York State in 2001.  Jenn has appraised single family residential properties as well as 2-4 unit properties.  She prides herself on extensive knowledge and expertise in her service areas. Jenn holds a NYS Real Estate Broker’s license.  Jenn stays abreast of all changes and improvements in her field of expertise by participating in continuing education classes.  Jenn holds a leadership position on the Jefferson – Lewis Board of Realtors and NYS Tri-County of Women’s Council of Realtors.  She is a Director of the NYS Society of Real Estate Appraisers.  Jenn was awarded 2011 Realtor of the Year and honored as Northern New York’s Top 20 Emerging Leaders under 40.

Tom formed Humes Realty and Appraisal Services in the 1970’s to simplify the appraisal process for his clients.  As a senior level real estate appraiser he has completed over 11,000 residential and approximately 500 residential review appraisals since 1973.  He was an appraiser for 8 years with the US ArmyCorps of Engineers during the expansion of the Fort Drum military base.  Tom has also qualified as an expert witness for the NY State Supreme Courts in Jefferson and Lewis Counties.  He is a member of the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Realtors and has been a NYS licensed Real Estate Broker since 1974.  Tom has been a fee appraiser for the Veterans Administration since 1977.
